Slowing Runaway DevelopmentThere's good development and there's bad. Developers with deep pockets don't impress me. I'll speak out for good, balanced, well-serviced and controlled development. And I'll fight the bad ones on your behalf. In Cornell, your and your neighbours are still waiting for your parks, your entranceways and for the Town to assume the roads. You're rightfully concerned that the developers continue to build true to the New Urbanism idea that attracted you to Cornell in the first place. The style of the homes and the main street concept with nearby parks must be maintained in the new phases. And this development needs to be in step with the construction of a community centre, library, community rooms and a sports complex.
