Committee / Board Appointments

A large part of my job as your Councillor is working on many Committees and Boards - where the policies that the Town of Markham Council implements are designed and updated.

 

Committees are where most of the work takes place. Committees are where you get to make sure that your opinions and goals are achieved. Committees take a lot of time - a large number of meetings are in evenings, early mornings, weekends to ensure that all members can participate.

 

Membership in committees comes from Town staff, community volunteers and members of Council as appointed.

Please also feel free to send me your comments by way of a phone call, e-mail or through the web site contact form - and please consider participating yourself on a Town committee to help our community - it is very important and rewarding when you make something happen!.
