How do students get from Cornell to Bur Oak High School?

I have received the following information from York Region Transit for student transportation between Cornell and the new Bur Oak High School.

YRT operates Route 18 – Bur Oak which operates via Bur Oak Avenue between Markham-Stouffville Hospital and Angus Glen Community Centre.  In the AM, there is a Route 18 – Bur Oak trip departing Markham-Stouffville Hospital at 7:37am which arrives at the school at approximately 7:52am.  Students can board this bus at the hospital stop or along Bur Oak Avenue.

Route 9 – 9th Line (currently Route 9A.  As of September, Route 9A will be re-numbered to Route 9): Effective September 2nd, there will be a Route 9 – 9th Line trip departing Markham-Stouffville Hospital at 7:30am.  Students have the option of taking this 7:30am Route 9 – 9th Line trip which operates along 9th Line and then transferring onto Route 18 at 9th Line and Bur Oak Avenue.

In the afternoon, students can take Route 18 – Bur Oak (eastbound service to Markham-Stouffville Hospital) to travel back to Cornell.  There is a Route 18 trip at the school at approximately 3:10pm.  This trip arrives at the hospital at 3:28pm.  Students can either walk home or connect to Route 85 – 16th Ave which operates along 9th Line between Church St and 16th Ave.   The connecting Route 85 trip from the hospital departs at 3:40pm.

The September schedules and maps will be posted on the YRT website approximately 2 weeks prior to September 2, 2007.
