Community BBQ 2007

Each year Mary and I have a Community BBQ at our home at 27 Parkway Ave.  It is open to all residents of Ward 5, and we hope it gives an opportunity for neighbours to meet neighbours.

Mary looks after buying the food, and she does a wonderful job with hamburgers, veggie-burgers, hot dogs, pop and don't forget the corn from Reesor's on the 9th Line.  If it was any fresher, it would still be in the field.

Enbridge supplies the cooking equipment and two fantastic cooks that look after the guests in a top notch fashion. 

This year we were pleased to have two students, Richard Crockford and Lindsay Crockford, who helped with the details, and found a fun way of gaining school community hours.

And let's not forget our Corn Shuckers Gunter and Beth Langhorst, Lorraine MacLean and Carol Fisher, who came early and prepared the corn as well as Judy Bell who kept the condiments table stocked.
