Markham is looking for volunteers to participate in the process of governing the municipality and charting its future.
Volunteer positions are available on a variety of advisory committees.
Apply now to use your talents and interests for the benefit of our community.
Applicants must be residents of Markham and 18 years of age. Markham Council
members may conduct personal interviews for these positions.
Committee member qualifications and meeting frequency vary, depending on the committee.
Markham residents may apply for positions on the following boards and
committees: Advisory Committee on Accessibility; Animal Care Committee;
Environmental Advisory Committee; Heintzman House Community Centre
Board (Thornhill); and the Public Art Advisory Committee.
