Update: December 5, Grand Opening Celebration

Reesor Road Bridge Delayed until November 2007

Further to the notice dated May 28, 2007, Reesor Road will remain closed to through traffic between 16th Avenue and Major Mackenzie Drive East until the end of November 2007 due to bridge construction.

Reesor Bridge Grand Opening

December 5, 2007

When I was asked if we should delay the opening of the Reesor Bridge in order to have a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, I said, "No.  Let's open the bridge and do the ceremony later."

The bridge has been open for a week now, finally.

The Grand Opening is on Monday December 17, 2007 at 10:00 am.  Come and join the celebration.
