Proposed Extension of the Overnight Parking in CornellCornell, with it's lane based garages, dose not provide sufficient parking is some circumstances, such as a three car family. Therefore Cornell is one of the few areas in the Town of Markham that has an overnight parking permit system. As the new areas of Cornell are developed, it is up the residents that move in to decide if they wish the permitted parking in their area. To that end, a survey is being done to ascertain the need. The overnight parking permit system will allow the residents of Cornell, who reside in areas not currently approved for permit parking, to park on the street overnight between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. provided a valid permit has been obtained. The permit conditions are as follows:
