Boil Water Advisory In Angus Glen Update:

" We now have two passing set of samples at the new location and the Region has agreed to lift the Advisory first thing in the morning.   Waterworks staff will work with Corporate Communication to get notices out to the residents once we receive the all clear from the Region. "

This is the final 'all clear' notice from our Waterworks Department.

On the weekend one of the regular samples that are taken did not meet our standards.  We immediately followed the set protocol and a Boil Water Advisory was issued for the affected residents.  Notices were had delivered person to person, and returns were made until all people in the affected area were told.

These strict controls were put in place to safeguard our residents and I'm glad to announce that they worked.  We found the problem and solved it without anyone getting sick.

Our water is safe - I drink it straight from the tap.
