Main Street Markham Auto Classic

Sunday Sept 9, 2007

The merchants of Markham Main Street are blocking off the street, just for you. They're inviting you to come help them celebrate Olden Days & Antique Cars.

There'll be antique and 'nostalgia' vehicles on display, along with antiques for sale, lots of entertainment, good food and many of the other fine things from life in the past.

It all starts Sunday September 9, 2007 at 10 am and goes until 4 pm. There'll be lots to see and do at Olden Days & Antique Cars.

-  Up to 200 antique and nostalgia vehicles will be on  display.
-  There'll be specially selected antique dealers showing their wares.
-  And, Markham's best shops will be open to greet you. Many will have specials and demonstrations laid on for you.

Chair of Olden Days & Antique Cars festival, Keith Thirgood says,

"The Village of Markham has a historical connection with transportation. One of our earliest important companies was the Spieght Wagon Works. We felt a festival celebrating transportation and olden-days values was just the ticket for Markham Village."

Entertainment is planned throughout the day. Check back here for the line-up closer to the event.

The Southern Ontario Thunderbird Club, our club sponsor, will have many fabulous vintage Thunderbirds on display.

This event is hosted by the Markham Village BIA, Craig Riley’s Markville Ford Lincoln SVT, Concepts on Wheels, YRNG and Capstone Communications
